Lavender sat at a table in the corner of the common room, papers and a text book spread in front of her. She had to do her Runes Homework, it shouldn't be too difficult, she'd already helped Hester with hers. There was a quite murmur from other students in the common room but not enough to put her off. Not yet anyway. She grabbed her quill and pulled the text book towards her, though she read it several times.
"Here goes," She muttered to herself before starting to write. It wasn't that difficult, like she'd originally thought, which was good. It took her around half an hour to finish, then five more minutes to read through and spell check. When she was happy with it she closed the book and tidied the paper.
