Herbo Lesson 2

Pierre stood quickly and retrieved his supplies (avoiding the girls who were needlessly avoiding other students), pulling on the gloves. The cheap fabric was already hurting his skin....oh well. Taking out his book, just in case they needed it, he poked the Puffapod, smirking at the irony of it.

Jen stood up from where she had been sitting, and quickly went over and grabbed a tray. She was careful not to bump anyone, and not to trip. Once she got back to her seat, she began looking over the supplies. She couldn't wait to get started.

She had always loved plants, and she couldn't wait to learn all about the magical ones. She knew a bit about magical plants, but she could always learn more. After all, it wasn't just about the plants. It was also about their uses and other things.

Terry stood and went to retrieve her tray, eying the gloves warily. She had a pair of dragon skin- oh wait, no, she had forgotten to buy those. Why.......oh yeah. dragon skin. That'd be cruel to do that to such majestic beasts! Sitting back down next to Liz, she set dwon the tray and flipped through her book, wondering if a Huffapuffapod was in there.

Lachlan stood up, smiling at the teacher as she did so. Mrs. Cooper seemed like a fun teacher. Lachlan was sure she was going to enjoy this class. Lachlan wasn't one for violence or anything like that. She preferred to grow plants or help with animals. Lachlan knew she was what people would call a typical "Hufflepuff".

Walking over, Lachlan grabbed a tray. Looking at the stuff, she couldn't help but get excited. This was her first real class, who wouldn't be excited. Lachlan made her way back to her seat, wondering if she should've gotten Fiona a tray. Lachlan didn't want to be rude.

Fiona had been busying herself with putting up her hair as Lachlan stood up. She would have joined Lachlan, but she was fine with it. She stood up, making sure her hair would stay since she had used her wand to twist it into something like a bun, and was glad that it did indeed stay up. She passed by Lachlan as she went and retrieved her own tray, going back to Lachlan and sitting next to her again. "Puffapods are supposed to be really tricky," she told Lachlan quietly, rearranging the things on her tray.

She looked back at the teacher for a moment before pulling on the gloves on the tray, not wanting to risk anythins with the kind of plants in here. Reading about many different (and sometimes dangerous) plants made you a little on edge about most of them. Puffapods weren't really dangerous, though, so she was glad about that.

Carefully putting his things back in his bag, he sighed. No notes today. Standing, Peter got up and got in line to collect a tray. Looking curiously at the plant when he was close enough for his tray, he picked it up and carefully went back to his table. This actually might be a bit tricky if they had to distinguish these plants by colors. Wondering what a Puffapod was used for and why anyone would want one he looked up at his professor for the explanation.
