| Sami glanced over at her new partner, who seemed to have appeared out of no where. Ivan? Why would he want to take Divination? Probably thought he could skive off here.... She didn't really care, she was all too interested on what shape her tea leave might make.
"Sure, Ivan," she grabbed the cup from in front of her and passed hers onto him. After staring blankly into the bottom of the cup, she began making out a shape or two. "Um.... I think I can distinctly see a scythe- no, an arrow? Yeah, an arrow. And-" The Ravenclaw squinted real hard and saw a small, circular shape with a small line going through the bottome. "A balloon, too."
"That means you will or have recieved bad news through a letter, but have your troubles uplifted in the long run." Sami hoped that it wasn't anything too bad. Ri would be a wreck if anything happened to her cousin. |

| Pierre frowned thoughtfully. Maybe this subject wasn't so useless after all. It actually predicted what had happened two weeks ago. "Wow, how bright," he said sarcastically.
Taking Sami's cup, he squinted into it. "I see.....it looks like a Grim, but smaller, so.....a dog, I guess. But if you turn it a bit, it looks a guitar...and then it melds into a rectangle? I guess that'd be an envelope." Not even glancing at the pamphlet, he added them all together. "So You'll be meeting friends, and they'll be faithful, while you have romance on the horizon." he snickered.
"Liza told me about Scorpius. Really? I barely know you, but seriously, you could do better."

| Sami winced a bit at the thought of the "Grim" but relaxed afterwards. She tested it out in her mind: 'meeting friends and they'll be faithful, while you have some romance on the horizon.' Meh, could be worse. But the romance thing was a little itchy.
"Liza told me about Scorpius. Really? I barely know you, but seriously, you could do better." She buried her face in her arms and banged her head on the table, careful not to break the cups. She moaned, by the time classes were over everybody would've heard of them. And they were only eleven!
"Lyss made me do it!" Sami slowly lifted her head and grabbed her cup, tea sounding delicious at that point and sighed when none was available to her.
"Anyways, do you think this professor'll be rubbish? I heard the last one was a fraud," the witch commented, changing the subject. |

| "Right..." Pierre snickered, leaning back on the back legs of his chair. "Anyways, he sounds competent enough...." he shrugged, settling down his chair and taking Puff from his bag, careful not to let the Professor see him. the other people there still working, so they had time. Handing him to Sami, he glanced at the teacher, wondering if he would notice Puff's small squeals. | |

- Natalie glanced around the room with a blank look in her eyes. Choosing a partner was difficult. She had no idea who to choose, or if anyone else had any idea what they were doing, so she selected someone who did not already have a partner. "Hello," she greeted the person. "My name is Natalie, would you like to trade cups with me?"
Ellen had been sitting quietly for the whole lesson so far, she didn''t know anyone so she worried a little when they were told to swtich cups with someone. She was about to ask someone when a huffle ppuff asked her trade cup with her. She smiled at the girl who called herself NAtalie "hi I'm elle, sure we can swtich cups" she said passing her cup tot he girl and taking Natalie's. She looked down at the cup trying to make out the shapes the tea leaves were in. |

| Gwen laughed, "Well that sounds promising Hester. A dinosaur? Hmm...Well it looks cool." She smiled. "I love meeting new people and an unexpected guest? I wonder who that could be..." She murmered the last bit. Everyone she´d known that could visit unecpectedly was either dead or in hiding. Hmm...Oh! "OhMyWizgod....." She muttered. New friends...unexpected visitors....The TWINS!!! "YES!" She cried out happily standing up, knocking the chair back in excitement before remembering where she was. She blushed and sat down again. "Ahem...My Mum´s pregnant..I think the tea Leaves mean the Twins will come soon." She explained in a happy whisper. | |

| Hester grinned happily. It seemed, from what Gwen was saying, that she had actually predicted something from a cup of tea... Actually, actually predicted something. Which meant that all of this tea leaf stuff could really work. It was a revelation, because if this was true, then how much else of the superstitions that she had grown up with - ignoring them, of course- could actually be true as well?
She remembered what Gwen had said about her cup. Happiness and good news. Well, she was certainly happier here than she had been at home, but she had no idea what the good news could be. She guessed that she would just have to wait and see if it would come true or not.
"Twins?" she asked. "That's awesome. I hope everything goes well." She smiled at Gwen.

"Nice to meet you," Natalie said politely as she took Elle's cup and passed her own to the other girl. She tilted the cup every which way so that she could try to get the proper reading out of it. "Well, I see an envelope, which means news, and a bat, which is disappointment, and they're in a circle, which means love, and it's next to a rabbit, which means success," she checked each symbol against the list to figure out the meaning. "So I guess that means you're going to get some news which succeeds in disappointing you, but you're going to love it." It didn't sound quite right. There had to be something wrong with her reading.

| Gwen nodded and grinned, "Thanks, I cant wait. I already have a little bro, he´ll be one soon." she said smiling. "Do you have any siblings?" she asked before looking up and feeling a sharp pain in her temple again a she saw her BirthMother at sixteen, dropping a crystal ball while talikng to her boyfriend and saw him catch it. Then the image vanished and Gwen held her head briefly as her vision flickered. Then it felt normal again and she smiled faintly at Hester. | |

| Gwen looked a bit faint.
"Are you ok?" she asked. "Do you need to sit out of the lesson?"
Hester was worried, but seeing as Gwen wasn't making a fuss she decided to carry on their conversation.
"I have three sisters," said Hester. "One's three, one's seven and one's nine. I don't know if any of them are magical yet, though."
"What's your brother called?" she asked after a moment.

| Gwen shook her head and smiled, "I´m fine." she listened to Hester talk about her siblings and nodded, "Thats cool, I always wanted a sister and his name is Ben," she smiled, "And what are your sisters names?" | |

| "Jeanie, Hannah and Hope," said Hester. She glanced over at the Professor. "Are we supposed to be talking?" she asked Gwen, worried that she would end up with another detention. She looked down at the cups on the table. She wasn't sure what else she could do with them now she had attempted to decipher Gwen's. | |
