Makayla, after her many hours in the Hogwarts Library decided that some time spend in her common room was very much in order. She made her way there, being sure to move deftly out of the way of some older looking Slytherins that were heading in her direction. She knew that they probably meant no harm, but Makayla was nothing if not overly cautious. She finally made it to the portrait and said the password, thankful that she remembered it, and stepped through.
She loved the yellowness of the common room. It was perfect. She smiled even more so at the alight blaze that had settled in the fireplace. She was in desperate need for warmth and what better place then, here, surrounded by her Hogwarts Family. She took a seat on a deep, rich rug that was strategically placed in front of the fire by someone very clever and let her backpack, which was full with texts from the Library, slide off her shoulder and to the ground beside her. She could very well fall asleep in the exact position she was in. Pure bliss.
