"I do live in Wizarding London. You'll just have to tell me where you live, of course." Kiki had a grin on her face. "I just think that we're going to be great friends. What house are you hoping to be in?"

"I live in muggle London.. I'll have Sam get it when he comes to get me, he can just apperate there. It'll be faster" She decided. Adreis smiled widely "I hope so. Friends are nice. I don't know anyother witches or wizards my age. I really want to be in Ravenclaw. Like my Mum and the twins." She told her new friend "you?"

"Hufflepuff," Kiki said proudly. "My whole family was in Hufflepuff. If I don't get in there, maybe I'll go into Ravenclaw. Just anything but Slytherin." She shuddered. "If I go to Slytherin... Actually, I just don't wanna think about it," she said with a grin.

"Hufflepuff is my second choice. My brothers best mate was in Hufflepuff." she smiled "and yeah. No slytherin. Eh... " she shuddered at the thogught.

"Sam told me that the Minister of Magic was in Ravenclaw" Dree said as an after thought

"Yeah, my dad told me that too. Wasn't he the first Muggleborn Minister too?" she asked. "Because I really look up to him."

"I think so.. Yeah me too." Adreis nodded " I want to work at the Ministry after Hogwarts. Or be a healer... Just not an Auror... I don't think I could do that..."

"I want to be... Actually, I have no clue what I want to be!" Kyra laughed. "When's your brother getting here? I really, REALLY want that book."
Kyra smiled and sat on the steps.

Dree grinned "He'll be here soon, went to the Quiddatch store." she rolled her eyes. "But soon... I hope"

Kyra winced at the word "Quidditch" but ignored it. "Your brother's probably a big fan, huh?" she asked, her voice just a tiny bit hoarse.

Adreis took note of this and guessed it had something to do with her sister. "Nah not really. He was supposed to meet his friends there I think"

Just then, Sam came jogging down the street. he stopped infront of them and nodded at Kiki "Dree, Listen. Somethin's come up, Paul's having a party back at his flat. can you make it home?"

"Saaammm" Dree whinned "But I needed you to apperate back home. Kiki wants to borrow my Shakespeare book!"

"She can go back with you now. Liam's home and Dad will be soon. He'd be thrilled for you to have a friend over. you know that"

Dree gave him her best 'shut ip right now' look then turned to her friend "do you think you can? come over y'know?" she asked hopefully

"I'll go ask my mum." She gave a fake evil eye to Sam when he wasn't looking and winked.
She jogged over to her mother. "Mum?"
"Yes sweetheart?" Mrs. Henderson asked.
"Can I go to my friend's place?"
"I don't know, can you?" This was obviously another one of her mother's grammar lessons. Kiki huffed.
"Fine, may I go to my friend's place?" Mrs. Henderson, placed her hand on her chin.
"Have I ever met this friend?"
Kyra rolled her eyes and mumbled, "No."
"I think I'll need to meet her first."
Kiki led her mother over to the aisle where Adreis and Sam were located, and said, "Dree, this is my mum. Mum, this is Dree."

Dree smiled. She felt a tiny pang of jealousy deep deep down, because Kiki had a mum. but she shooed it away quickly. "Hello" she smied shyly. "I was wondering if Kiki could come over.. She wanted to borrow my Shakespeare book... and My brother, (well other brother) is home, and my dad will be back from work in half an hour..." she said

Sam jumped in "We live over in Muggle London, Dree and Kyra could take a bus, or.. walk even to our abode. it's not too far away..."

"Well, you seem like a nice girl. I don't see why not. Kiki girl, you go ahead." smiled Mrs. Henderson.
"Excellent!" Kiki held up her hand for Dree to high-five.

Dree high-fived her hand and grinned. "Ready then?" she asked, waving goodbye to the girl who had first talked to her they had barely talked and she felt a bit guilty for going off with Kiki when this girl was trying to be nice to her...

Sam waved goodbye and practically ran down the street.

"I'm Essi," saiai Essi to the new girl, Kyra. "And I'll be first year."

"I want to be in Ravenclaw too," she said to Adreis. "My Mum was in that house as well."

"Hey Essi. It's really nice to meet you," Kiki beamed. "Sorry I, uh, ignored you?"

"Nah, it's fine," said Essi, a little embarrassed. I daydream sometimes..."

That made Kiki think. "You remind me of someone," she said, placing her hand on her chin. "I just can't figure out who."

Dree smiled "go Ravenclaw" she grinned at Essi. A thought then came to her "Essi, would you like to come to my house too?" she asked the girl. "You're welcome to come.."

"Sure," replied Essi, happily. And then to Kiki: "If you remember who, be sure to let me know." She smiled. Having magical friends felt great. She'd always been the outsider at her primary school. Not a proper outsider with no friends, but the one girl in the group who wasn't really part of anything.

"My older brother will be there, and my dad, when he get's off work" she told Essi "so if you have to check with your parrnts or anything...."

Sami stood outside of the bookshop, staring through the windows in wonder. "Flourish and Blotts" the store read. Dad really wasn't kidding when he told her that it would harbor all of her book-needs. It was big enough to hide a castle, even! Maybe Hogwarts is hidden in here, she thought dryly.

The eleven year old brightened a bit at the thought of Hogwarts. She already knew she would be in Ravenclaw, like her father, but was really adamant on making friends her age. As her aunt would say, the only friends she'd ever made are fictional characters.

Eager to search for a new novel, (and school books, of course) the witch carelessly slammed open the front door. She winced when it hit the wall, making a giant CREAK that would've woken the dead.

A group of kids who were roughly around her age stopped talking and glanced at the perpetrator of the awful racket.

Sami hid behind her curtain of black hair and ran behind a shelf containing books such as "101 Hair Spells for Witches!" and "Common Household Charms for the Beginner"

Well that was embarassing, she thought to herself.

After a few, mostly silent, minutes of scanning the shelves, she assumed that they had left and retreated back into the aisles. They've probably left by now, anyways. It doesn't take that long to find textbooks.

Now, time to find a good romance novel, Sami decided. The girl knew she should've been looking for her textbooks but figured that she could get that done in five minutes, tops. No worries about that for now.

So, when she marched towards the back of the shop, determined, it surprised her that she didn't find a romance novel. Instead, she ran straight into the group from before. Literally.

Kyra was literally knocked off her feet by a raven-haired girl who seemed her age. "OOPH!" she huffed as her bum hit the ground. She got up slowly, rubbing it, as it hurt. A lot. "Hey! What was up with that?" she asked the girl, whose eyes were behind her hair, a tad angrily.

Essi stumbled backwards, and realised the whirlwind that had hit her and her firends was actually another girl.

"Merlins pants!" Sami exclaimed, reaching towards the girls she had knocked down. One had made a loud OOPH, that had made her snap out. "I am SO sorry, here let me help you!"

She made a motion to grab the first girl she saw, who happened to to havedeep brown locks and a frame smaller than hers. With that intuitive look in her eyes, she would make a good Ravenclaw.

The witch scurried past to help the next girl only to find her already up, staring angrily at her. "Hey! What was up with that?" The other witch that she had knocked down so carelessly was staring at her as if Sami had killed her puppy.

Then Sami realized who the other girl was. Brushing her hair out of her face, she smiled timidly before saying, "Not a very good first impression, ay Kiki?"
