Weasley's Wizard Wheezes Term 1

If it was one shop that captured James' attention (apart from the Quidditch shop) it was Diagon Alley's famous joke shop. He often spent his pocket money within there, buying all sorts of items to prank his brother and father and couldn't fathom going off to Hogwarts without a collection of things to entertain him.

James had a look around at the items they had on display, some of them new and some of them he had purchased before. He laughed at some small children playing with the Pygmy Puffs, and walked towards a collection of Anti Gravity Hats and the Skiving Snackboxs. He really didn't know what to take with him, but he was sure that if he asked his father, he would send him so more. His dad was always up for a laugh.

He found some things that amused him and walked up to the counter, waiting for it to be free. He grinned at the shopkeeper.

"Hello. Could I purchase these please?"

He placed one Reusable Hangman, one Skiving Snackbox, one Decoy Detonator, one set of Extendable Ears and a Spell Checking Quill on the counter in ground of the assistant.

After purchasing his items, James continued to have a look around. He really wanted to buy a packet of the Wildfire Whiz-bangs, but decided to save that for next time.

Gwen walked in looking over her shoulder to avoid her parents catching her. They might not approve if what she was plannuing. Hello, ehm...One Patented Daydream Charm, portable swamp and a decoy detonater please." She said smiling sweetly.

Done with his shopping, Peter wandered the Alley and looking at the different types of stores and shops. He didn't think he'd get another chance to all summer, so he wanted to make sure to explore and look as much as he could. Ralph was securely in his pocket, and after the incident in the robe shop, Peter was wondering if they made little harness and leashes or something!

So in his search he ended up outside the joke shop. Naturally being an inquisitive eleven year old boy, he just had to go inside. His blue eyes went wide as he stared at things he couldn't have even imagined. Going from shelf to shelf, each item looked more appealing than the last. Unfortunately his wallet wasn't as large as he wished it could be. Picking up a few items he took them to the counter.

"Hello. Can I please have a pair of Extendable Ears, a Portable Swamp, One Self-Inking Quill and one Spell-Checking one? As well as a Patented Daydream Charm, and two Peruvian Instant Darkness Powders?"

Weasley's Wizard Wheezes was Hester's last shop. She planned to get a present for her little sisters, since they weren't going to go to Hogwarts this year.
Or any year, she thought, because she was the only person so far in her family that had magic. She hoped that they would get to go because it wouldn't be fair if only she got to go.

She browsed the shelves. There were so many magical items. Perhaps they'd like a headless hat each? Jeanie and Hannah would have so much fun with one of them. But it might scare little Hope. She moved on. Ton-Tongue Toffee seemed a bit of a mean trick to play on them. She wanted a present, not a trip to the hospital.

Then she saw a cage full of purple pygmy puffs.

"Oh. My. Gosh," she breathed. They were so cute! She dipped her hand into the cage. They were so soft as well! She pulled out the cutest one possible and took it to the till.

She handed over 15 galleons.

Even Hope will love this, she thought, glad she had managed to get something that they'd all like.
