A Walk by the Lake

Terry nodded at Dree's question. "Ves." she nodded. "but never vake me up!" she warned everyone. "Especially when I'm in a tree."
Great. Now the others were going spin-spinny-spin on her.

Dree rolled her eyes at Terry and focused on Vanessa. "ready for some stupid questions?" she asked with a grin "to make sure you don't have a head injury" she added.

"What year is it?" she asked the shy girl, looking into her eyes, making sure they weren't all unfoucused...

Sami groaned when she realized she had just barged in on them, uninvited. "Oh, please excuse me. I'm Sami, Sami Criss. Nice to meet you, V and Charlotte." She looked over to where V was being healed by Addy, wondering what had happened.

"But never vake me up! Especially when I'm in a tree." The girl looked towards where Ri stood, looking dizzy. She was still a bit frightened of her, because of last nights events, but decided not to hold it against her.

"Here, lemme help you. You don't look good," Sami went and checked for signs of a concussion. "Are you feeling faint? I think you might be concussed," she let that sentence hang for a while.

"I could take you to the Hospital Wing, I'm 'fraid I'm not as good as Addy when it comes to healing." The witch apologized before lending an arm to her dommate.

Terry let Sami lead her out of there, now seeing her parents wrestling with the Squid. Wow, Father is strong....
"Mother! I'll save you!" she cried, trying to go towards the edge of the lake.

Vanessa wondered why she would be asked such an off question. Why would she not know it was the year 2011. "I-it's two-thousand and eleven, right?"she said almost uncertainly. Unless the world had suddenly decided it wasn't 2011, it was still 2011...
She furrowed her eyebrows slightly; this place just got weirder and weirder...
She heard Terry's cries and her brows furrowed deeper. Was that girl always like that, or had the fall hurt her sanity?

"you seem fine" she nodded to Vanessa "Terry however...." she looked at her friend "Vanessa, you should come with us, we're taking Terry to the hospital wing. Just in case" she said with a grin. "Sami, let's get them up to the Hospital wing." she glanced at Charlotte and nodded. before starting off.

Vanessa nodded, letting out a breath she hadn't realized she'd held.
"T-that'd probably b-be a good idea...She d-didn't land wholly unscathed, then..."
She waited silently as they helped Terry up, and followed after them like a shadow; usually unnoticed, but always nearby.
