Overall Personality
Elise is a fierce young girl. With her experience in martial arts and sports, she's become sort of a feminist. During each tournament she's ever participated in (three in total), Elise has always been mocked for being the only girl trying to dominate the co-ed section. Everyone believed (and had told her) that men were naturally stronger than women, and she was at a disadvantage. But she believes that women can compete in an equal ground with men either in the work force or in a fight. As such, she has shown a strong distaste for weakness or being overly dependent on other people.

With Elise's interests being dominated by sports rather than "cute boys," "dolls," and gossip she hung out with guys more than girls. It didn't bother her that she was a tomboy, rather she was proud of it. Although she was a bit rough while spending her time with boys, Elise began to care about her looks (a bit) as she grew older. And in addition to her extra curricular activities, Elise recently found herself enjoying a book or two.

.Personal History.
Elise grew up in a pretty good and well-off orphanage so she has no tragic memories. Her childhood was full of fun, petty children fights, and cake. Since the orphanage was completely funded by the government and donations, Elise was able to get good education, and join physical oriented schools/clubs like the nearby Kung-Fu dojo down the street, and a recreational center where she learned how to play tennis and soccer (or football).

She didn't start showing her magic until she was seven years old. Elise was in participating in an amateur martial arts tournament, and was currently watching a match which had one of the children secretly doing illegal moves. Elise grew angry at such a display that she had levitated him off the ground, even though she didn't know it. The boy instantly fell down to the ground when people began to gasp and scream, cutting off Elise's concentration. Elise figured more of her magic as she went along through life. Her magic came out when she was emotionally distressed.

Then her Hogwarts letter came, and Elise was excited about entering it. Other children were jealous and wondered why Elise was going to an "elite boarding school" while others were clearly smarter than she. The people in charge just lied and said that someone was interested in her well-being, and if she passes then Elise will get adopted by her sponsor.
