Pet: Toy Yorkshire Terrier named Natasha.Personal History.Erika grew up as a normal magical child in a normal magical family with her mother and father. A few years after she was born, her sister, Tess, came along and she happily became a big sister.
When she was 11, she got her letter to Hogwarts and she was sent away to begin her magical learning. During her very first Potions lesson, she accidentally blew up her cauldron, prompting a flurry of laughter from her classmates and a sympathetic look and an offer to help her from the nice Slytherin boy who was sitting next to her. That boy's name was Tai Cooper.
The pair became fast friends and were practically inseparable. They remained the best of friends all through their Hogwarts years. She was always there for him when he needed help in Herbology, and he was always there for her when she needed help in Potions. He was also there for her whenever she had boy trouble, which is when she started to have stronger feelings for him, though she pushed them away because she thought nothing would come of it.
In November of her 5th year, she started dating Andrew Prince, a relationship that lasted three years and became a taboo after their very nasty break-up.
After a few years of working with plants at several different locations, including the Ministry of Magic, she took a position at Hogwarts teaching Herbology. She also took the spot as the Head of her old house, Ravenclaw.
In September of 2010, she met Andre Martinez and the two quickly became infatuated with each other. They had a very short, intense relationship that ended after only about a month. Erika broke it off because she realized that her feelings, while very real and intense, were not directed at him, but rather at the man she knew to be her best friend.
Immediately after ending her relationship with Andre, she went to Tai's house and told him how she felt. Much to her surprise, he felt the same way. The two were almost immediately engaged.
They were married at the beginning of December, shortly after Erika’s 26th birthday. Shortly afterward, they adopted Gwen and Ben Caldwell (now Cooper, ages 11 and 1 respectively).
A relatively short time after the wedding, Erika found out that she was pregnant. She kept this news to herself for a few days for fear of what her husband would say, but when she told him, he was thrilled. A few months later, she discovered that she was actually pregnant with twins, the gender of whom is being kept a secret by Tai and Erika.
