It was interesting on how arrogant that humanity as a whole can be in this day and age. The only legitimate threat that exist to humans are other humans. Of course, the stark difference between the magical and Muggle showed that neither side could overwhelm the other easily. Of course, witches and wizards had always used magic to gain the superior advantage over Muggles, something that had gone on for ages until the advent of sciences and technologies in the last century. Even more were the existence of Espers of the science side, individuals capable of paranormal activities with their supernatural skills in altering some portion of reality around them. Kutoutuo wasn't a stranger to what science was capable of, having seen the future several centuries from now where conditioned humans underwent extensive training to become Ghosts. Further conditioning of such Ghosts with extreme mental indoctrination along with the use of Terrazine and Jorium in the augmentation process produced psionic Specters.
Thinking back about the visions that he and Ridovia had reviewed, Kutoutuo had realized that since his magical core couldn't be fixed, he would have little option but to draw upon the energies of the environment in order to wield magic. There was a note of caution that Ridovia conveyed to him and it was the possibility of drawing upon the cold energies of the entropic void, which could certainly convert him into a psionic-capable individual if excessively utilized but the price for that would be that he could never use magic again. It seemed like quite a risk that came from extrinsic magic use but Kutoutuo wasn't concerned. If the Telasma Malfunction Syndrome ever got worse over time, he certainly would have no choice but to embrace psionic ascension.
At the moment now, the youth was garbed in black street clothing and wore what looked like ceremonial gauntlets made of brass around his lower arms along with light brass armor around his lower legs. The blue crystal that he had gotten from that cave in New Zealand had been broken down into pieces and integrated into the interior of the brass accessories that he wore. A black cloak hung from his shoulders as he silently crossed the terrain near the outskirts of the community, just enjoying the quiet scenery of nature before heading back home. He noticed some children playing hooky nearby along with a few other people moving to various destinations, though none of them were familiar. Strangers here and there going about their business to say the least. He continued onwards on his nocturnal stroll.
