Jen needed a break of shopping. Her parents were getting on her nerves. Since she was the first of their children to go to Hogwarts, they wanted to make sure she had everything she needed and wanted for school. They had already bought her more than enough books, robes, and a pet. She kept saying she had everything she needed, but they kept insisting on 'one more thing', which never ended up being just one.
So she decided to go take a walk in the park. With her backpack slung over her sholder, and her earbuds in her ears, she left her house and headed to the park. After walking around enjoying the beautiful day for about an hour, she sat down by a tree and turned off her music. She reached into her backpack and pulled out her sketch pad and began sketching everything in sight. Trees, benches, animals, everything.
She hoped to meet a few kids her age before she got to Hogwarts. This would be her first year, and it sure would help to know someone before she went there. She had not yet seen anyone, but she hoped that at least one would be out on this warm afternoon.
