| Beginner Potions - Years 1-3 Description Potions are magical mixtures commonly brewed in cauldrons and used to create various effects on the drinker. The class is intended to teach students how to brew potions properly and safely, and to teach them of the affects that potions have on the drinker as well as antidotes to use in situations where they are needed to reverse a potions' effect. Disclaimer Not everything was written in the Harry Potter books. My thoughts on how potions should be done differs from many people. All I can promise when I tell you a fact I made up is that I tried to back it up with logic and science. Please, if you have a bone to pick with one of my theories, express it in my office or send me a message. If you bring up a good point, I will admit it and maybe change my curriculum. My mission for my class is to provide you with theories and resources to use in your fanfictions. Prerequisites None. Just be sorted in a house and sign up on time. Grades There are no specific grades for this class. If you want to attend classes and complete homework you are rewarded for your efforts in Galleons at the end of the term.
