.Personal History.Ryan McAdams and Estelle Rodriquez met when they were young, around the ages of fourteen and fifteen. For them it wasn't love at first sight, if anything it was a friendly rivalry that lasted through their fifth and sixth year. In their seventh year things took a different sort of turn when they realized they were in love with each other, and by the time they graduated, they were engaged. A year later they discovered they were pregnant with their first child, which led them to walk down the aisle a lot faster then they had originally wanted to. Things had been rough, but hoping a baby could keep them together, they soon got not only one, but two twins named Zane and Marley. Zane was strong and healthy, but Marley was born with health problems that the doctors didn't think she'd be able to overcome.
The McAdam's family had a complicated lifestyle, with constant fighting and unhappiness. Marley's health problems just added to the stress, and by the time Serenity was born five years later, the household was nothing but unpleasant. Marley grew sicker as Zane and Serenity grew stronger. By the time Serenity hit the age of seven, devastation clutched onto the McAdam's family as deaths cold fingers took Marley's life away. After that, Serenity's parents only stayed together a year after. After thirteen years of marriage, they divorced. Zane went away to live with the father, and Serenity stayed to live with her mother. Losing her sister, brother, and father all in a year and a half span left Serenity bitter, upset, and quite the misbehaving child.
By the time Serenity hit age eleven her mother couldn't have possibly sent her faster off to Hogwarts.
