Signatures are allowed but must follow the rules of the site. Basically, they need to comply with the following items:
-No nudity
-No obscene words
-No defamatory remarks (aka- don't say bad things about someone in your sig)
Additionally,
they cannot be larger than 500 pixels by 400 pixels.
This includes EVERYTHING in the sig- pictures, text, etc.So you can compare, here is what 500x400 looks like:
This is actually a very large amount of space. You can fit a lot into this area.
The reason for putting this rule in place is that nobody wants to scroll through more signature space than actual posting when they are reading a thread.
Members have one week from today (until Friday, Feb. 18th) to modify their signatures to reflect this change. Members who fail to do so will have their signatures modified by an administrator and will be docked galleons.
