Berbatov Estate

Terry sighed as she settled down under a tree in the garden with one of her texts, Iggy sleeping on a nearby rock. Eying the one rosebush that she despised with all her being, she moved so she wouldn't see it. Flipping through the Charms book, she grinned as she came across a Speed Enhancing charm. Not quite a Rocket Charm, but it would do the trick. Grabbing her wand from under her rolled up sleeve, she waved it, said the incantation... nothing happened.
The text said to pronounce it clearly, no variations, sneezing or coughing would help the casting.
Terry sighed. she was in for a long year if every spell had a 'y' and a 'w' in it.
Abandoning the book under the tree, she pocketed her wand and stood as her mother called for her in their native language.
"Terrance! You have visitors!"

OOC: Next Summer

Terry untied the letter from the owl, grinning at Alyssa's name. Sitting on the balcony ledge, she broke the wax and and unfolded the parchment, grinning as she read the invitation.

Dancing inside to her room (plastered in Vratsa posters), she picked up a quill and wrote her reply on Gryffindor red parchment, smiling the whole time as she sent it off with the owl.

"Mother! You know the Lastwicks? Can I go over to visit Alyssa for dinner?" she called as she ran out of her room, leaning over the banister to peer down at her parents, Iggy croaking from his spot on the mantel.

She grinned as they gave permission, and Terry ran back into her room, jumping on the bed as the Vratsa game came on the radio.
