Distinguishing Marking(s): faint scars across his palms from braiding wet rawhide and a four inch red scar on his left shin from a run in with a barbed wire fence on horseback. there is a thin scar on his face that is only visible when he is blushing or otherwise refaced. It runs from the base of his right ear three inches up about a cm in front of his hairline.
Other: .Preferences.Likes:reading, mostly novels, writing, but only when he feels like it, animals, especially horses. He likes to ride out away from everything and everyone and sit in the silence whenever he can. He can be social but prefers to observe. His favorite subject is care of magical creatures or charms.

Strengths:persistent to the point of being stubborn, charms, working with animals, getting out of trouble. He is especially gifted with handling horses, both magical and mundane.

.Personal History.Esa’s parents were very young when he was born. His mother was barely 17 and his father only 15. His mother wanted nothing to do with him by his birth and removed herself completely from his life within a month of his birth. She died when he was six in a freak accident. He was raised of the first four years of his life by his paternal grandparents. When his father graduated from Durmstrang he took over the raising of Esa. Yrjoo met Asa at a ball shortly afterwards. They married one year later. The small family then took over Yrjoo’s fathers business, the breeding of magical and mundane horses on a large farm in northern Finland. Shortly afterwards Eero was born, rounding out the family. Asa has raised him as her own son since she began to date his father. Esa considers her his mother, not Leea.
Esa learned to ride mundane horses before he learned to walk. He first road flighted horses when he was seven. He is very adept on them. He prides his skill.
Esa has lived his entire life in Finland until attending Hogwarts. The decision to attend Hogwarts over Durmstrang alienated him from his paternal grandfather. He tries to act like it doesn’t bother him but it hurts him greatly.
Esa only started to learn English when he was nine. He speaks it mostly fluently but will mess up his tenses a lot. He struggles with reading English text as well as writing. He is a big fan of adding vowels to words.
Esa is very excited to be attending Hogwarts, he is the first member of his family to go to school off the continent.
