The huge caverns within New Zealand were beyond anything that Kutoutuo had seen in his life. Garbed in black street clothing and a cloak but also wearing gauntlets that covered his lower arms along with protective armor around his lower legs, the youth calmly ignited the tip of his wand with the Illumination Charm as he made his way across the vast hallway of rocks that stood at over a hundred feet in size. There were so many things that looked non-euclidean and the remnants of structures that didn't looked like they'd be constructed by a human civilization. The weird symbols and glyphs that decorated the surfaces that he passed by were unnerving to say the least but then again, Kutoutuo wasn't one to hesitate or get cold feet in regards to such matters as he continued to comb through the area.
'Darkness have my dreams been of late and yet the illogical visions that accompanied them are ever so puzzling.' he thought to himself, his left hand remaining on standby to draw the loaded revolver in his cloak just in case he was being stalked. Still, the Portkeys that he kept on both of his wrists were another alternative, though he had to credit Ridovia for setting them up and giving them to him.
Noticing a very faint blue glow in one of the various caves ahead, Kutoutuo extinguished the light around the tip of his wand before slowly entering silently. Moving quietly without making a sound, he eventually came across a vast chasm that had some sort of underground waterfall that emptied into a pool at the bottom. The blue glow was brighter and Kutoutuo could see
that it was coming from a series of crystals that were itched onto and growing from the rocky walls of the caverns.
Seeing one of the crystals lying on the ground, Kutoutuo placed his wand away and picked it up with his right hand before making his way down to the pool that the underground waterfall was emptying into.
'Hmm... I guess anyone is welcome to a private bath under a waterfall like this.' Kutoutuo thought before seeing a cave behind the falling water. There was also a small walkway that led to it and the youth followed it inside. The crystal's glowing blue light illuminated the darkness well enough and he eventually reached what looked to be a dead end, which was a metallic pair of doors with multiple red symbols of an unknown origin that he wasn't familiar with. At the center of the doors was a blue glowing circular crystal that looked exactly like the one that he was holding despite the difference in shape.
He felt an increase in warmth within his right hand before looking to see the crystal that he held was glowing brighter than usual. For some reason, Kutoutuo felt compelled to touch the crystal that he was holding with the one on the door. Both of them seemed to be glowing brightly as though engaging in some form of harmonic resonance. Curious, he decided to follow that compulsion and once he made contact, the door slid open to reveal what looked to be a large ceremonial altar of sorts. At the center of the altar was a large pale-blue crystal the size of truck that was somehow hovering in the air on its own.
Curiosity then took over with force as Kutoutuo cautiously placed his left hand onto the pale crystal. The effect was beyond reckoning as the huge crystal resonated and reacted to his touch. The crystal that he was holding in his hand also glowed brightly. As for Kutoutuo, his mind was overwhelmed with a torrential ocean of images that flooded with his mind with overwhelming impunity. Though he was frozen within the physical world, the youth was seeing what looked to be a conglomerate vision of memories that didn't appear to be his own. Eventually, several minutes passed before Kutoutuo managed to withdraw but the overwhelming visions that he saw felt like an eternity. As he backed away to comprehend what had just happened, the large crystal began to dim as cracks appeared before fragmented into pieces. Slowly, the large crystal became nothing more than shards that then burst into embers and Kutoutuo looked at the crystal that he was still holding onto, seeing it still glowing and unchanged. Deciding that there was nothing else left and that it was time to leave, Kutoutuo quickly made his way out of the strange chamber and out from behind the waterfall. He slowly ascended back up to where he had entered before moving through caverns to the outer world.
'What was all that?'Kutoutuo thought before activating the Portkey that Ridovia had given him, spiriting away back to the magical U.K. Perhaps if he had a Pensieve, he could review the things that he had seen.
