Noah lay on the grass by the edge of some bushes, his eyes remained closed as the soft sun shone down against his face. There was a light breeze that rustle through the trees, but it was generally warm, and Noah was in no rush to get anywhere so was just enjoying the outdoors while he could.

He had been staring up at the clouds as they passed by, but had now chosen to just simply lay there and listen to his surroundings, which mainly meant the leaves and the distant sound of peoples voices that drifted through the park. Summer had been fairly uneventful, he hadn't seen anyone from school yet and was wondering what they were all doing. He imagined that some of them were off travelling around the world with their parents and family, but he had been stuck in England while his parents dealt with something at work.

He nearly leapt out of his skin, ten feet into the air, as a loud crunching and crack broke through the relative silence. It was as if the bush behind him was coming alive, something he wouldn't push past the laws of magic, but it still didn't half scare him from his relaxed state.

He waited to see what it was that was in the bush, maybe it would show itself or just go away, either way Noah wasn't going to lay back down until he was sure it wasn't a werewolf or a garden gnome, both had nasty bites.

Bradley is looking a bit ill today, and as a biproduct of that, Cass is feeling sympathy pains. As he plodded sadly along behind her, Cass is trying to keep up her own morale, because Bradley is being too bloody stubborn. Sometimes she thinks he likes being ill, but then she feels bad so she stops thinking that.

He ribbits, because now he's realised he's got this entire to hop through after he rudely leapt off her shoulder and he is a lazy little devil.

"Fine," she mumbles, kneeling down and letting him climb to her shoulder. "But if you so much as ribbit one second of attitude you're going back down."

Only no sooner had she said that, Bradley uttered an ear splitting sound right next to Cass' head. Unable to scream in shock, she swayed sidewards, feeling the sounds hitting through her eardrums. She sways violently to the right and loses her footing over the small step from the path to the grass, falling and her bags of robes hitting the shrubbery with full frontal force.

She isn't sure if she's actually speaking, but nevertheless Cass says or thinks a swearword to him, brushing herself off quickly and making sure to leave Bradley on the floor. Giving the first and worst dead eyes she will ever do, Cass stands up with her bags hitting her knees and feigning nonchalance walks on like nothing had happened.

Only she stops in her tracks when she notices someone staring at the shrubbery she had just been in, and knows her plans have been foiled. Her eyes bulging, she freezes in her tracks and hopes she can blend well into the scene.

Staring around at the bush, he noticed a blonde haired girl, pulling herself back to her feet. How she had ended up in the bush Noah had no idea, but she tried to make out that nothing had happened as she began to stride off.

"Um, are you ok?" Noah asked, stepping forward and looking behind her, "did the bush jump out and swallow you or something?"

As he was looking behind her he saw a frog or a toad sat on the grass, he had no idea how to tell the difference between the two, they all looked the same to him. They were small, looked slimy, hopped and ribbeted, that was enough to put them in the same category as far as he was concerned.

"Um is he yours?" he pointed down at the small amphibious creature, "are you leaving him there?"

He eyed her curiously as she looked like a deer in headlights. Did she expect no one to notice?

"Fine, fine, you caught me Noah," she says bitterly (and also loudly), submitting to the defeatist in her, holding her hand up in the air in defeat with the other one cupping her left ear. She feels submerged in water, but somehow painfully sideways, with her left ear ..well, there was no other word for it. Drowning.

Rolling her eyes at his comment about being swallowed by a tree, she follows his eyeline to see him facing Bradley. That slimy traitor.
"I don't want him to be," she says pointedly, saying it to behind her shoulder. "For all the good it does me."

At this, Bradley visibly shrinks, and takes a meek hop forward. Oh, now he wants to repent. Now he wants Cass' forgiveness. No siree.

"I'd say I am going to leave him there, until my guilt surpasses his guilt," she says warily, joining Noah on the grass.
"Your hair looks long," she says calmly, pointing at his yellow locks. "I know a spell for that."
