.Personal History.
He grew up in a fairly normal family, his mother is a muggle and his father a wizard. He had a keen interest in Care of Magical Creatures whilst at Hogwarts and decided that that was the career path that he wanted to follow. He worked hard to gain his OWLS and NEWTS required and joined the Ministry soon after graduating.
Whilst at Hogwarts he earned an enemy in the form of Robert Campbell and was pleased when the stupid drop out left Hogwarts without fully completing. Although Campbell had seen to make Jake's life miserable he was sure that there would be one day when Robert would get a taste of his own medicine, that's if he was still alive. Jake had no idea where the low life now lived.
A hard worker with a keen interest in what he did, he soon climbed the ranks in the department, traveling all over the country and globe. He seemed to soak up information like a sponge, and had become known to be the walking creature encyclopedia amongst his peers at the department. If you needed information on a beast of being Jake probably had what you needed or would know where to look for it. He is determined to take over as the head of department one day.
