.Personal History.
Matthew Hamilton was raised by parents Xavier and Gloria Hamilton until age 11, where he attended Hogwarts. Matthew graduated with high grades in Charms, Potions and Transfiguration to be offered a place in the Potioneer Academy in the UK.
Deferring his place, Matthew travelled the world extensively, discovering more about the world and himself. He returned after a few years and took up his place within the academy, where he met Tai Cooper, and struck up a friendship with the man. As Tai needed to step down from his position of Potions Master, he asked Matt if he would take up the position. After much persuading, Matthew agreed, and this is his first year teaching his chosen field.
